DaBaby’s name has been dragged through the mud after making a controversial and homophobic statement at Rolling Loud in Miami last year. Things have not been smoothing sailing for him after that either. He has now been charged with felony battery.

According to TMZ, the rapper is now facing criminal charges for a beatdown of a man who claims he suffered for trying to DaBaby’s crew from shooting a music video on his property.

DaBaby has been charged with felony battery by the L.A. County District Attorney’s Office. This is due to an incident that took place in early December last year. The incident allegedly left a man named Gary Pagar, with serious injuries.

Another man named Thankgod Awute has also been charged. Prosecutors claim the man supported DaBaby in the attack, which is why he was charged with felony robbery.

DaBaby and his team rented a huge pad that Pagar manages in L.A. Pagar said he was told it was going to be a vacation place for the rapper and his friends. Pagar made it clear the guest limit was 12 people. When they came, Pagar realized there were more than 12 people but was falsely assured they would go away.

When they started shooting a music video, Pagar tried to stop it and then a member of DaBaby’s crew attacked him. Pager then alleged that DaBaby ”sucker-punched” him and knocked out his tooth, took his cell phone, and issued threats against him if Pagar informed the authorities.

Pagar is currently suing DaBaby for $117,910.48. We will keep you updated on this ongoing legal case right here at Thirsty.
