Celine Dion is well-known for her powerful and technically proficient vocals. Celine received a lot of attention after her Titanic song My Heart Will Go On. Due to ongoing medical issues, the iconic singer has postponed her ‘Courage’ tour for the third time.

Celine Dion issued an emotional statement on Instagram on April 29 announcing that the U.K. and European leg of her “Courage” tour, which was originally scheduled for September 2020, then rescheduled for April 2021, will be postponed for the third time due to the singer’s health issues.

Dion was scheduled to begin the European stretch of her tour on May 25, but the dates have now been pushed back to late February of next year. “Well here we go again,” starts Dion in her announcement video, “I’m so sorry we have to change our tour plans for Europe one more time; first we had to move the shows because of the pandemic, now it’s my health issues causing us to postpone some shows and unfortunately we have to cancel some too.”

The Canadian singer stated that she is doing “a little bit better,” but that the process is slow and “frustrating.” Dion announced in January of last year that her tour in the United States and Canada would be cut short because she needed time to recover from “severe and persistent muscle spasms” that were impeding her ability to perform.

“I’m still experiencing some spasms. I need to be in top shape when I’m on stage. I honestly can’t wait, but I’m just not there yet…”

The tour will now begin in February 2023 in Prague and conclude on October 4, 2023, in Helsinki. The tour’s Paris dates have yet to be announced, though Dion’s website indicates that they will take place in September 2023. The original tickets will be honored, and the remaining tickets are still available for purchase.

Let us hope she recovers quickly. To get the latest updates, keep an eye on Thirsty.
