GI Joe was a staple for anyone who loved fast-paced action in the 1980s. The show was a cultural phenomenon that still lives on to this day. A popular cartoon, movies, and most importantly, action figures made GI Joe irresistible to kids who couldn’t get enough. Since then, it’s been rebooted as a live-action movie franchise and the toy line is still going strong.

Hasbro recently announced that Sgt. Slaughter will be returning to the GI Joe universe. Slaughter was famously featured in the GI Joe cartoon as a major character. Now, the Sarge is getting a new action figure. Hasbro announced the new deal on Twitter.
