Bernie Sanders Is A Big Fan Of Cardi B’s Communication Skills

Cardi B is best known as the creator of top-charting Hip Hop songs such as “Bodak Yellow” and “WAP.” The Grammy winner is also known for her political views, such as her support for Senator Bernie Sanders. Bernie recently praised Cardi for her communication skills, because he obviously appreciates what she has to say.

The Vermont politician appears to be a fan of the Bronx rapper as well. Bernie Sanders co-signed Cardi B’s support for strengthening Social Security in 2018. The two-time Democratic presidential candidate also backed Cardi running for office in the future.

When Cardi B sat down for a conversation with Bernie Sanders in 2019, the two worlds became officially aligned. The campaign video, titled “Bernie x Cardi B,” addressed issues such as police brutality, health care, and student debt. Bernie Sanders had high praise for the Invasion of Privacy album creator, according to a new book by the senator’s former deputy campaign manager Ari Rabin-Havt.

In 2016 and 2020, Bernie Sanders ran for President of the United States. He lost the ’20 Democratic nomination to then-Vice President Joe Biden. That same year, Cardi B spoke with Sanders again on Instagram Live after the political Independent dropped out of the race and endorsed Biden.
