The Kardashians might be billionaires. That doesn’t mean they’re willing to pay $140 million in damages to Blac Chyna. The two sides are involved in a bitter court case that stemmed from the model’s allegations against the family.

According to Page Six, the Kardashian-Jenner clan has filed a motion in an attempt to have the court case thrown out. Chyna claims the family influenced E!’s decision to drop her own reality series “Rob & Chyna.”

The family’s lawyer Michael Rhodes slammed Chyna’s claims in court on Friday, April 22. He referred to the allegations as “absurd” and called out Chyna for not having any additional testimony or evidence to offer to the court.

“Before trial began, these claims were absurd. Now that Plaintiff has testified in her entirety, and has no additional testimony or evidence to offer on her damages, Defendants respectfully submit that entering such an instruction would be a vastly inadequate remedy.”

Rhodes said that Chyna’s request for $140 million in economic damage and $36,000,000 in general are “unsupported and wildly speculative claims.” The legal team cited Chyna’s inability to provide the court with accounting records.
