Jared Padalecki, the star of the hit show ‘Supernatural’, was absent from the show’s latest fan convention in New Jersey. Everyone was confused by his absence, and they wondered where he had gone.

Jensen Ackles, who played Jared Padalecki’s brother on the show, confirmed that Jared had been involved in a life-threatening accident a few days ago. Despite the fact that the collision was terrifying, Jared Padalecki was lucky enough to escape with only minor injuries.

Jensen said:

“I miss my buddy… [Jared] sends his love. I spoke with him yesterday. He’s sad he can’t be here. He was in a very bad car accident. He wasn’t driving. He was in the passenger seat, and he’s lucky to be alive.”

Jensen told the audience in East Brunswick that he had some info regarding the accident. “He’s at home recovering, which — the fact that he’s not even in the hospital right now is, like, blowing my mind because I saw the car.” Jared informed his on-screen brother that the impact of the airbag felt like he “went 12 rounds with Tyson.”

Jensen requested the fans to pray for the actor’s quick recovery. Jared Padalecki’s followers were quick to respond, showering him with heartfelt recovery wishes on social media. Even the Supernatural actor’s co-stars wished him a speedy recovery.

On April 21, Jared tweeted that he would be missing the convention, but he didn’t explain why. He wrote, “Hey #SpnFamily! Sorry to miss y’all in NYC this weekend. Thank you and the #WalkerFamily for all the love and support. Can’t wait to see y’all again.” However, Jared did not share any other details, including the date of the accident.
