Antonio Brown just released his new album ‘Paradigm’ but he has already started thinking about his next album and has revealed that he only wants athletes in his new project.
Brown joined TMZ Live where he discussed the success of ‘Paradigm’ and also gave fans an idea of what he’s thinking of in his new project.
Brown, who won the Super Bowl with Tom Brady in 2021, shared, “The next album got to be with all athletes. We want to give every athlete a chance to be creative — NBA, baseball, football players.”
“We just want to give premier athletes the opportunity to express themselves, be themselves. I know a lot of players that do it on their own that may not put it out,” Brown told Harvey and Charles.
Brown’s album ‘Paradigm’ features some big names from the hip hop industry. Kanye West has been helping Brown with his album. Brown told TMZ Sports that although Kanye has not been featured on the album, Kanye had a significant contribution to the production.
Other famous artists such as DaBaby, Fivio Foreign, Young Thug, and Keyshia Cole have all been featured in Brown’s album but it looks like Brown is now more focused on featuring Shaquille O’Neal, Melvin Ingram, Darren Waler, and Miles Bridges for his upcoming project.
Antonio also admitted that Shaquille’s success as an athlete as well as a rapper motivated him and talked about potentially working with him in the past. Absolutely, Shaq was the only athlete that made a successful album that actually went platinum. And he still was a great player,” Brown shared. “He changed the fact of athletes being one-dimensional.”
It would be great to see more athletes get the exposure that Shaq did and Brown seems to have taken up responsibility for that.
