LeBron James just wrapped up a very difficult year with the LA Lakers. The team struggled to find any sort of chemistry. Los Angeles failed to qualify for the playoffs. Head coach Frank Vogel was fired. LeBron isn’t taking it sitting down.

King James took to social media to make a promise. LeBron is feeling the pain of not having a chance to compete for a championship. While watching the NBA playoffs, James made a vow.

The NBA great said he would never miss the playoffs again. That includes the rest of his career, not just next season. LBJ took this failure of a season very personally.

“I can/will NOT miss the post season again for my career! This sh*t HURT. Ok back to watching these games.”

The Lakers will have a lot of work to do to get back into championship form. The first order of business is finding a new coach. There have been several names thrown around, but nothing official has been announced regarding interviews or potential candidates.

LeBron James missing the playoffs is a strange anomaly that the league and its fans aren’t used to. LeBron himself was infuriated by the way things went. Time will tell if he can keep his promise of never missing the postseason again.
