Prinze hosts a wrestling podcast where he talks about his thoughts on today’s product while also sharing stories about his time backstage with Vince McMahon’s promotion.

Pro wrestling has seen a lot of changes over the last several years. WWE finally faces legitimate national competition from All Elite Wrestling. Freddie has spoken openly about his desire to eventually start his own promotion.

A fan replied to a recent story about Freddie Prinze Jr’s wrestling ambitions on Twitter. They noted that good wrestling television is a good thing. Freddie responded, noting that he only went back to work to finance his dream.

“I hope so. Only went back to work to finance the muthaf*cka. Give me some time tho”

Starting a wrestling promotion in the current climate could be a crap shoot. Freddie Prinze Jr has plenty of industry experience. His decades as a fan means he knows a lot of the ins and outs of the business.

Time will tell if Freddie can launch a successful wrestling company. If nothing else, he is following his passion. Now, he just needs to figure out a way to pay for it.
