Bill Murray has been a fan favorite comic and actor for decades. The legendary actor even performed in one of the oldest stages on earth. However, despite his clean record over the years, Murray is reportedly under investigation for “inappropriate behavior.”

According to Deadline, following the production was suspended on the Searchlight film Being Mortal, sources told the outlet that the suspension had to do with a complaint made against star Bill Murray for inappropriate behavior. However, it’s unclear at this time what Murray’s involvement in the project will be going forward as the investigation remains active.

Industry insiders shared with the outlet, Aziz Ansari, who is starring, writing and making his directorial debut on the film alongside his partner Youree Henley, was not a part of the complaint, nor was co-star Seth Rogen. Meanwhile, Searchlight has refused to comment on the situation.

The complaint was filed last week and production was halted on Monday. Eventually, a decision was made to suspend production going forward as the investigation continues. Cast and crew were told about the production being suspended last night in a letter sent out by the studio.

Sources said that the production phase was half-way through before it was halted earlier this week. The plan was to release the film in 2023. Although, it is unknown at this time if the suspension will affect the release. Stay tuned to Thirsty for future updates.
