Dasha Gonzalez competed on the second season of the reality sports competition series “The Titan Games.” The AEW interviewer and ring announcer previously worked for WWE in various capacities. Dasha was thrilled to work on a show produced by Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson.

A couple of months after Dasha appeared on Titan Games, she said she got a very interesting text message. Gonzalez heard from The Rock himself. Dasha talked about the exciting moment on a recent episode of AEW Unrestricted.

“Two or three months later, I got a message from him (The Rock) saying how proud he was of me and how hard I worked. I honestly just couldn’t believe that he would take time out of his day to send me like a two minute message. That’s what kind of a stand up guy The Rock is.

He thanked me for representing wrestling. I was just so shocked. He said ‘It’s so good to have somebody like you representing the wrestling industry and not giving up. It doesn’t matter who you are or where you come from. You gave it your all.’ I felt like I did it and it was nice to see that he recognized that and everyone there recognized that, so I’m just, even still to this day, I’m so grateful for it.”

It isn’t every day you get a text from The Rock telling you about what a good job you did. Dasha was happy to hear from him. The Rock seems to always take care the people he’s encountered along his massive rise to superstardom.

Dasha Gonzalez was shocked by the kind gesture. Those who know Dwayne Johnson well have come to expect that kind of respect and professionalism. The Rock didn’t get to the heights he has by being a mean person.
