It didn’t for Pat McAfee to become one of the highlights of Friday Night Smackdown. This is due to his solid skills as a commentator and personality as well as his passion for pro wrestling. He also impressed Kurt Angle recently.

Patt McAfee squared off against Austin Theory at WrestleMania 38 Night 2. McAfee impressed fans with his excellent athleticism and in-ring psychology. He ended up defeating Austin Theory, which was something fans did not expect.

While speaking on The Kurt Angle Show, Kurt Angle talked about Pat McAfee’s performance at WrestleMania 38. Angle admitted he was surprised by how well McAfee wrestled.

“Pat McAfee was the surprise performance at WrestleMania. I would’ve never expected him to do what he did, that was pretty amazing, especially for a non-wrestler.

That jump to the top rope was impressive, and then the superplex? Wow! He has some good leaps, he’s a great athlete.”

We will have to wait and see whether Pat McAfee will end up competing in another match or not. He has already proven that he has the skills necessary to be a competent performer.
