Erica Banks recently said that Nicki Minaj blocked her on social media, despite the fact that she remains a fan of the rapper. However, Banks is still dealing with the fallout from her statements on Nicki Minaj.

Banks recently responded to the backlash she received for her Nicki Minaj comments with an indirect tweet to her peers. On Tuesday, Banks tweeted out to address fans and hopefully put an end to the negativity coming at her.

“Nobody gone tell you that you’re the best, you gotta make that sh*t. Idc how many gimmicky rappers or rappers wit sob stories try to attack my character, I’m still that girl that get y’all hot by literally speaking [laughing emoji] bc I’m her. Now shutup & rap,”

Banks became a subject of discussion after a video of an interview went viral in which she stated that she had wanted to work with Nicki Minaj. “I love Nicki, but I just felt like, I been trying to reach out to her for a long time but I felt like she kinda ignores me and she entertains girls who really can’t rap,” she said in the clip. Minaj has recently worked with Doja Cat, Bia, and Coi Leray, so it was simple for fans to assume Banks was taking shots at her peers.

However, Asian Doll has criticized her since her comments went viral. On April 18, Asian Doll took to Twitter to express her thoughts about Bank’s assertions.
