Britney Spears fought hard in a courtroom to end her restrictive conservatorship, and now she is headed for the same place again but for a different reason.

The “Toxic” singer was busted for driving her car at “unsafe speed.” In the legal documents obtained by The Blast, Spears caught a ticket for driving at an “unsafe speed for prevailing conditions.”

According to the outlet, California Highway Patrol issued Spears a ticket for violation of traffic rules on March 10th, 2022. She is due for courtroom on May 3rd. However, the documents did not specify how fast she was driving.

Britney’s 13-year conservatorship dissolved in November last year; while fighting for it, she mentioned her driving privileges as well. During those 13 years, her father controlled her day-to-day life, she wasn’t even allowed to drive herself anywhere most of the times.

That being said, this is not the first time Spears has found herself in trouble for speeding. Back in 2021, the law enforcement let her off the hook with a warning after they busted her for going 62 MPH in a 40MPH zone. It seems like luck wasn’t on her side this time.
