Before becoming a professional boxer, Logan Paul became a global sensation thanks to his YouTube career. Logan Paul also has a background in wrestling, which can help him in the MMA world. Bellator CEO Scott Coker also made an interesting offer recently.
Jake Paul has proven himself to be one of the biggest names in professional boxing. Many fans believe he singlehandedly made boxing a reputed sport again thanks to his insane hype for every single match.
Earlier this year, Jake Paul received an open invitation to compete in a fight in Bellator by CEO Scott Coker. In response to the open invitation, Jake Paul even showed off a video where he was seemingly preparing for a fight in MMA.
While speaking to TMZ Sports, Bellator CEO Scott Coker revealed that he is more than open to letting Logan and Jake Paul face off against top talents in Bellator.
“We’ve had convos with [Logan] and Jake about, ‘What does MMA mean to you guys,’ and ‘What do you guys wanna do?'” Coker told us. “There’s ongoing dialogue, but if they wanna really get down and get serious, we’ll bring them in. Sure, why not.
When they started boxing two years ago. I told people don’t underestimate these guys, because they’re gonna get better and better and better.
It’s just a matter of them training and practicing. If they get into a gym like [American Kickboxing Academy] with Javier Mendez … talk to me in a year, man.
I’m impressed with how much they’ve grown over the last two years, and if they have their mind made up, I think they can come get into it.”
We will have to wait and see whether Logan and Jake Paul will end up making their way to the MMA world. Bellator is certainly interested in having them around.
