Last Year, UFC President White stopped Georges St-Pierre from fighting boxing legend Oscar De La Hoya at Triller Club. Oscar De La Hoya was very irate at the announcement and others were as well. It came to such a point that Oscar De La Hoya even challenged UFC president Dana White to a fight.
Dana White dismissed his challenge and called Oscar De La Hoya a crackhead and this prompted a response from La Hoya who lashed out at him. La Hoya then claimed that Alexander Volkanovski doesn’t get enough pay in the UFC.
This led to Dana White blasting La Hoya and stating that the boxing legend should win an academy award for his performance at the hospital. Dana White even called La Hoya a hypocrite.
While speaking to TMZ, Oscar De La Hoya stated that he wants to bury the hatchet with Dana White. La Hoya also made it clear he regrets attacking the UFC in the past.
“I wanna fix things up with Dana. I criticized the UFC a bit and I was wrong for it but yeah, I would love to patch things up with Dana and Mayweather.”
For a long time, fans believed the beef between Dana White and Oscar De La Hoya would never end. Perhaps it will soon enough, assuming Dana White is willing to bury the hatchet as well.
