Drew McIntyre Isn’t Giving Up Idea Of Tyson Fury Match

Drew McIntyre remains one of the top Superstars in WWE and certainly has a lot of passion for the pro wrestling business. His personality has made him a hit with fans as well. He is also determined to face Tyson Fury even now.

WBC Heavyweight Champion Tyson Fury is one of the best professional boxers in the world right now. For the past couple of years, Fury has been teasing a match against WWE Superstar Drew McIntyre, with Fury once stating that he is ready to face him ‘anytime’.

Drew McIntyre had previously mentioned that he will do whatever it takes to fight Tyson Fury. He even claimed that Fury stalked him with new messages every day.

On September 3 at Cardiff’s Principality Stadium, WWE will host a show in the United Kingdom. While speaking with BT Sport about the upcoming event, Drew McIntyre made it clear he still wants to face Tyson Fury.

“He’s the one I’ve been talking the most about. We’ve been taking digs at each other for over two years now. I’ve said it over and over, this is a match that’ll draw the attention of not just the WWE and wrestling fans, but of the general public. I can’t think of anything bigger, and being around the man I know how much he enjoys the WWE product. He has a real passion for WWE and entertainment. We can do some fun stuff. If it ends up Drew vs. Fury, I’d be good with that as well.”

Fans would certainly get behind seeing the two behemoths duke it out in a match. Now it remains to be seen whether WWE will book that match for the UK event this year or not.
