Teen Mom 2 star Kailyn Lowry is always at the center of fans’ criticism for one thing or the other. Fans literally drag her through the mud for her comments on anything. However, in a recent turn of events, fans halted their constant criticism to appreciate Kailyn’s parenting skills.

On the April 12 episode of “Teen Mom 2,” Kailyn taught her son, Lux, 4, a valuable lesson about commitment. In the episode aptly titled “There’s No Crying in Football,” Lux persistently tried to get out of going to football practice, but Kail stood her ground and insisted he attend.

The reality television star explained the importance of commitment and accountability as she told Lux that he didn’t have to participate in the practice, but he, at least, had to show up. Kailyn said to Lux in a brief promo clip shared by the network, “You need to be there because you committed to it.”

Fans of the show were impressed with how Kail handled the situation. They took to Twitter to compliment the “16 and Pregnant” alum on her parenting skills after the episode aired. One Twitter user wrote,

“The fact that Lux was able to express himself, but also knew there was a boundary & that he had to chill with the bulls*** is truly a testament to what a great mom Kail is #TeenMom2,”

Another fan shared, “I don’t like Kail whatsoever but I love how she is handling the situation with Lux,” A third user added, “Kail has my respect for teaching her boys commitment,”  Meanwhile, you can check out the promo clip as well as more reactions from fans below.
