The Blackpool Combat Club came out to address the live fans in New Orleans after AEW Dynamite went off the air last night. William Regal’s group wanted to bring out hometown hero Ricky Starks to send the crowd home happy. Instead, they were met by Danhausen. The hugely popular AEW star became a viral sensation online before signing with Tony Khan’s promotion.

The very nice, very evil star took to the microphone and attempted to steal William Regal’s suit. Regal, Jon Moxley, and Bryan Danielson simply looked on in disbelief. Yuta introduced Danhausen to the BCC and was forced to do ten pushups for associating with such a character.

Danhausen then cursed William Regal. Regal sold the curse by stumbling around the ring and doing the stanky leg. Danielson eventually talked Danhausen into removing the curse.

Bryan Danielson then grabbed the mic and asked if the real hometown boy could come out. Instead, Hook’s music hit. The cold-hearted handsome devil has been interrupted for weeks by Danhausen during backstage segments. Hook simply walked out, looked around, and left.

Danielson said he would try one more time to bring out Ricky Starks. He invited him for a third time, and Starks’ music finally hit. Starks got a warm welcome from the New Orleans crowd. As he was giving his speech, The Acclaimed’s music hit.

Max Caster then did a rap where he said New Orleans was dirty and smelled like a port-a-john and insulted the local sports heroes. A section of the rap where Caster referenced “bountygate” (an NFL scandal where coaches paid players to hurt opposing players) was cut from the video. Eventually, Starks took out The Acclaimed and the BCC, Danhausen, and Starks celebrated in the ring to send the fans home with a feel-good moment.
