Gilbert Gottfried was one of the most beloved actors and comedians in the history of Hollywood. He was known for his roles in the likes of Aladdin, Problem Child and more. He was also working weeks before his passing.

Gilbert Gottfried sadly passed away at the age of 67 earlier this week. He passed away due to a heart abnormality called recurrent ventricular tachycardia, an arrhythmia caused by myotonic dystrophy Type 2.

As revealed by TMZ, Gottfried was hard at work just a few weeks before his passing. The President of HollywoodOffices, Brad Folb, stated that his company hired the legendary comedian on March 16 for a Cameo-styled ad through a company called Memmo.

They were looking for a personalized message from a “know-it-all” star whom anyone would recognize. They ultimately decided on Gilbert Gottfried. Folb added that Gilbert gave instructions on what they were trying to communicate in the video.

He could freely express whatever he wanted to say. It was said that those at HollywoodOffices were satisfied with what they got from him, which ended up costing around $1,300.

As seen in the video, the late comedian certainly seemed happy and energetic while doing his job. His passing left an incredible void that is unlikely to ever be filled.
