Jennifer Lopez Tried Hard To Hide Engagement To Ben Affleck

Jennifer Lopez announced her engagement to Ben Affleck where she showed off her fantastic ring. They are closer than ever now, but the couple is taking time for more thinking before the big day and not setting a date just yet.

A source close to Lopez told PEOPLE that she “loves her ring” and “can’t stop looking at it.” However, the source pointed out that the couple is “not talking about a wedding” just yet.

The couple wanted to keep their engagement news “quiet for a few days” before going public. Those around pop culture are eager to see where their relationship goes this time.

JLo tried to keep her engagement a secret. She ditched the ring in an attempt to throw people off, but it didn’t work. In the end, the world found out exactly why they are so happy.

The insider did say Lopez is very happy in her relationship. “It’s very cute to see how excited she is,” the insider added. “Ben makes her incredibly happy.” Lopez was seen wearing a massive, dazzling ring on her finger this week, sparking suspicion that the couple is engaged. 

The two started dating in 2002, but their relationship took a different turn. Lopez and Affleck called it quits in 2004. They were engaged and supposed to be married but called off their wedding just a few days prior to the ceremony. It appears they want to take as much time as it needs to think the decision through this time.
