Drake is one of the most famous rappers on the planet, but he also has a bit of a reputation of being a “Certified Lover Boy” as well. Muni Long once had an opportunity to collaborate with Drake but had to decline the office since her then-boyfriend was not comfortable with the deal.

Muni Long has just recently made her name in the music industry after working really hard by penning hits for other artists and now it looks as if everyone wants to collaborate with her. She made her way into R&B after her song “Hrs & Hrs” went viral.

However, Muni recently admitted on TikTok that there was a time when she was close to working with Drake but instead she let her then-boyfriend let her influence her on the decision not to work with Drizzy.

She wrote on the clip, “That on time in 2008 I missed out on a feature because my bf at the time found out he was pulling up to the studio and flew into a jealous rage. So I chickened out and quit responding to his texts.” She also included several “clown” emojis.

Earlier this year. Long got along with Ebro Daren for R&B Now Radio on Apple Music 1 and talked about her interaction with Drake early on in his career but we don’t know if this is in reference to the story she shared on TikTok. She said in January that Drake reached out to her after she covered one of his hits “Best I Ever Had.”

Long said on the podcast, “And I was watching him on Degrassi when I was in middle school and high school. So I’m like, ‘Oh my God, this is Aubrey Graham. This is amazing! Wheelchair Jimmy.’ And so, I remember talking to him back then. And he’s like, ‘Yeah, I’m an actor. I’m trying to get into music. I did this mixtape for Valentine’s Day. Didn’t really take it serious. People love it. I’m singing. Lil Wayne wants to sign me.”
