Kim Kardashian’s new show will reveal a different side of her. Kim’s life is full of controversies, and she plans to address them all. Kim recently stated that she hopes her show’s viewers appreciate her vulnerability.

On the red carpet at Hulu’s The Kardashians premiere on Thursday night, the SKIMS founder told People that while it’s not easy to open up about some of the more difficult aspects of her personal life on the show, she finds comfort in knowing that viewers can relate to her struggles.

“I always think, even if it could be a difficult time for me, someone else is going through that too and appreciates that vulnerability of whatever we’re going through. It seems to resonate with certain people.”

“There’s so many of us that someone’s always doing something that hopefully resonates with someone. I always like hearing people’s perspectives on that.”

She also admitted that seeing herself become vulnerable on camera is “so hard,” and that the only way to get through it while the cameras are rolling is to stay present in her reality. She explains, “I guess I just focus on filming and what’s really going on in life.”

The new series will follow Kim, her sisters Khloé Kardashian, Kourtney Kardashian, Kendall Jenner, and Kylie Jenner, as well as their mother, Kris Jenner, in the footsteps of E!’s long-running hit reality show Keeping Up with the Kardashians, which premiered in 2007 and aired its final episode in June 2021. However, viewers will not have the same experience, according to Kim.

“This show definitely shows us individually, which is really different. Our last show showed us all together as a family all the time, so you’ll really see us individually and what we do on a daily basis and then kind of coming together. It’s definitely more documentary style.”

“You learn that you’re always evolving, always growing and it’s okay to change your boundaries and the show all of the time. Just have fun with it! If it’s not fun, don’t do it.”

The mother of four has also been dating Pete Davidson of Saturday Night Live, with whom she was first romantically linked in October. The couple was seen hand-in-hand at the premiere of The Kardashians.

The Kardashians premieres on Hulu on April 14th. To get the latest updates, keep an eye on Thirsty.
