Cody Rhodes parted ways with AEW earlier this year and this was certainly a surprise for many fans. Fans believed he was going to WWE and that is what happened in the end. At WrestleMania, Cody Rhodes made his big comeback to WWE, and he was also on RAW.

Dave Meltzer said in the Wrestling Observer Newsletter recently discussed about a television pilot that Cody Rhodes filmed before his WWE comeback. Rhodes apparently kept this television pilot under wraps the week before WrestleMania. The name of the show is not confirmed but as it stands, it will be called “American Spirits.”

In the interim, Rhodes did a television pilot that he kept under wraps the week before WrestleMania, with a tentative name “American Spirits.” The show was described as an upscale wine and liquor based show where Rhodes would go across the country exploring that genre.

American Spirits revolves around an upscale wine and liquor and Rhodes got the role to travel around and explore the genre. At WrestleMania 38 Night One, the American Nightmare made his long-awaited return to WWE after a six-year absence. He competed against Seth Rollins in a 20-minute match that Rhodes eventually won.
