Travis Barker and Kourtney Kardashian made their relationship official on Valentine’s Day last year. Since then the two have been in a whirlwind romance the past year. The two were also adamant about having an Elvis impersonator for their marriage.

Travis Barker can attest to the fact that Kourtney Kardashian’s influence on him has been extremely beneficial. The two are deeply in love with each other and that is certainly a great thing.

As previously reported, Kourtney Kardashian and Travis Barker got married in Las Vegas by an Elvis impersonator. Many fans felt that their marriage was simply a publicity stunt.

According to Hollywood Life, Marty Frierson, the owner of the chapel, stated that Kourtney Kardashian and Travis Barker didn’t want to book a wedding unless an Elvis impersonator was there.

“‘We have a celebrity coming in from the awards [show] and want to make sure you’re open. We looked at your reviews. You’re a five-star chapel, so we know it’s nice – but can you get us Elvis?’” Marty recalled being asked. “So I’m like, ‘It’s kinda late, but let me see what I can do.’

So I made some calls,” he said, while adding that he does have a few Elvis impersonators on hand but not all of them are on call to work 24/7.

Once online payments were made, everyone necessary attended the ceremony and the wedding was officiated without a hitch. We will have to wait and see how Kourtney Kardashian and Travis Barker’s married life will turn out to be.

No footage of the wedding is available yet, and fans have come down on them for the PR stunt. Hopefully, their Elvis fit the bill.
