Tekashi 6ix9ine was once one of the most popular acts in the rap scene. The artist was notorious for his extravagant lifestyle, from his pricey jewelry collection to his amazing car collection, he had it all. However recently, Tekashi is allegedly struggling make ends meet. It seems 6ix9ine got called out again for ratting on his allies.

While the world ponders how DJ Akademiks lost his 4.5 million Instagram followers, the podcast host is hard at work on Off The Record. Akademiks’ fans noticed that his prominent Instagram page was no longer active, and it’s presumed that he’s been working overtime to get it back up and running. It seems he recently backed 6ix9ine but was shut down by Rowdy Rebel.

During this hard time, Rowdy Rebel was interviewed on Akademiks’ Off The Record podcast. The Brooklyn rapper called out fellow New York rapper Tekashi 6ix9ine for testifying against his Nine Trey Gangsters buddies and allies. Rowdy stated that he had no doubt that 6ix9ine will switch against Nine Trey, but that his own collective, GS9, will never do so.

That p-ssy had a great run, son. I seen the toughest n—– fold under pressure in that room. He wasn’t even half as tough. He was never outside! He ain’t have no morals, no morals. That’s d-ck suckin’ sh-t… If I’m rappin’ for you on the phone and you start recording me, what is that?

The section began with Akademiks claiming that New York’s rap scene has been dead for a while, but Rowdy called him out for hanging out with 6ix9ine. Rowdy also mentioned that as soon as he saw that 6ix9ine was in legal trouble, he knew that it was going to take a turn. On behalf of 6ix9ine, Akademiks continued to argue the house down, claiming that no one could have known the rapper would collaborate with federal officials.
