August Alsina has shared his feelings once more about Jada Pinkett Smith. He kept Jada’s name out of his mouth, but he still dropped a big clue in his lyrics.

Alsina, the R&B vocalist with whom Pinkett Smith admitted to having an extramarital “entanglement,” appears to be digging up the twisted details of their long-buried relationship in a new song called “Shake the World.”

After discussing their romantic relationship in his 2020 track “Entanglements,” the R&B crooner released another new song called “Shake The World” on Tuesday in which he discusses the backlash he received after their affair was made public.

“I heard I was canceled/Well, let’s speak on that/Red dot on my back, I became a target/And I’m flawed but flawless, that’s what makes me August,”

August and Jada gained worldwide attention when they both confirmed they were in a romantic relationship during a time when Jada and her husband Will Smith had an amicable split. In an interview with Angela Yee, Alsina said of the Smiths, “I love those people literally like my family.”

“I actually sat down with Will and had a conversation due to the transformation from their marriage to life partnership that they’ve spoken on several times and it not involving romanticism. He gave me his blessing and I totally gave myself to that relationship for years of my life.

And I truly am really, really deeply loved and have a ton of love for her. I devoted myself to it. I gave my full self to it – so much so to the point that I can die right now and be OK with knowing that I truly gave myself to somebody.”

Will Smith resigned from the Academy of Motion Picture Arts & Sciences last week in the aftermath of his on-air harassment of Chris Rock during the 94th annual Academy Awards. Smith smacked the comedian after he compared Jada’s shaved head to Demi Moore’s character in the 1997 film “G.I. Jane.” Jada had been open about her recent battle with alopecia, and the joke infuriated her husband, who followed the slap with a demand that Chris Rock keeps “his wife’s name” out of his “fucking mouth.”

August eventually took to Instagram to express his feelings about the slap heard around the world. However, as of now, neither Smith nor Pinkett Smith has responded to Alsina’s latest release. Stay tuned to Thirsty to get the latest up-to-date information about them.
