It was also confirmed that BTS was the #1 most tweeted artist during last night’s Grammy Awards. Obviously, their BTS Army is still going at full force.
However great their accomplishments might be, the seven-member boy band will take a year and a half off from the stage to serve in the South Korean army. The South Korean Ambassador to the United Kingdom stated emphatically that members of K-Pop bands, like everyone else, had a responsibility to protect their homeland.
BTS has wowed fans all over the world with their incredible songs, engaging personality, and humble demeanour. They appear to be greatly missed for the next 18 months. Keep an eye on Thirsty for the most up-to-date news about the band.
