Kanye West worked incredibly hard to make himself the billionaire rap and fashion mogul that he is today.  There is certainly a method to his madness and that doesn’t mean everyone will like that about him. There have been rumors that Kanye West will not be performing at the Grammys.

Kanye West, according to Waka Flocka, doesn’t give a damn about singing at the Grammys, therefore Ye’s suspension shouldn’t bother him. On a recent episode of “It’s Tricky With Raquel Harper” podcast, the “No Hands” rapper sat down with Raquel and provided a strong defense of Kanye and a harsh evaluation of the music awards presentation.

Waka Flocka Flame thinks musicians shouldn’t place too much stock in the Grammys because they’re judged by a few dozen people, whereas concerts attract 100,000 people. Kanye was pulled from the upcoming Grammys roster due to his online shenanigans.

Waka’s take is similar to Damon Dash’s who claimed that hip-hop doesn’t need the Recording Academy. Waka claimed Kanye is a “unapologetic genius” who is being judged too harshly by most people. Though he agrees that given his popularity, Ye should be a little more careful with his choice of words.

Kanye doesn’t need another Grammys performance to seal his legacy, and he explains why the honors “don’t mean sh-t in his world.” Damon Dash also urged Kanye West to not attend the Grammy Awards in general, even if he ends up winning an award.
