Bruce Willis is quitting acting after being diagnosed with aphasia. Shortly after Bruce’s daughter Rumer shared the sad news, Bruce received outpouring support. Now, Bruce’s co-star and long time friend John Travolta is sharing his thoughts on the matter.

John Travolta starred in the cult classic Pulp Fiction and rom com Look Who’s Talking with Willis. He paid tribute to his friend and former co-star in an Instagram post on Thursday, 31 March. He posted a photo of them with a long, heartfelt caption.

Travolta was very emotional as he and Bruce share a very close friendship. “Bruce and I became good friends when we shared 2 of our biggest hits together, Pulp Fiction and Look Who’s Talking,” John began in a post on Instagram.

“Years later he said to me, ‘John, I just want you to know that when something good happens to you I feel like it’s happening to me.’ That’s how generous a soul he is.” Travolta concluded his post with a heartfelt “I love you Bruce.”

Travolta and Willis recently reunited for the upcoming film called Paradise City. According to the Los Angeles Times, the movie was shot in Maui last May. The film’s director Chuck Russell told the outlet that Bruce Willis was excited to work with John Travolta again.

The Die Hard actor has had an iconic and long career. Fans around the world have showed their support for Bruce. Aphasia can be very hard to deal with. It affects the cognitive ability to produce and comprehend both written and spoken communication. In these hard times, we can only wish the best to Bruce and his family.
