Nicki Minaj is certainly one of the most established female rappers in the hip-hop world. She has already broken quite a few records in her decade-long career and that isn’t going to change anytime soon. Minaj is also an expert in breaking the internet whenever she wants to.

On the other hand Ari Lennox has not had the best of times recently. Last year, she was arrested in Amsterdam after she claimed she was racially profiled. Ari received a lot of negative media backlash over the incident.

During her birthday on March 26th, Ari Lennox took to social media and lamented over the fact that those she thought were close weren’t truly her friends. She said that it was the most depressing birthday to date.

“To recognize that those friends were never friends at all. Those loved ones were never loved ones. It’s a heartbreaking reality. and many people that gave a f*ck aren’t here anymore. You think you have all this time and you simply don’t.

Probably the most depressing birthday to date. Thanks everyone for being sweet though.”

Ari Lennox also revealed she had to block some people due to their negative comments. Nicki Minaj stood up for Lennox, questioning why Lennox had to block people on her birthday.

“Why should this woman have to block ppl on her bday? Y’all be running some of the best talents out this game then wonder why this sh*t so fkn dry! Idk what y’all said & IDC. [crown emoji] You’re beautiful & I love your voice. Gotta learn how to just be tunnel vision to the love mama. HBD [celebration birthday emoji].”

We certainly hope times will get better for Ari Lennox as she simply wants to focus on being happy as well as her music career. It is good to know the likes of Nicki Minaj has her back as well.
