Polo G is no stranger to controversy. The Chicago native was previously arrested on concealed weapon charges. The charges were later dropped in the police battery case. Now he’s making headlines after nearly escaping a chain snatching incident.

A video involving Polo went viral showing him at one of his wild concerts. The rapper was performing at when someone from the crowd tried to snatch his chain. Thankfully, the aggressor was caught before he could take Polo down.

Polo G considers himself to be one of the greatest rappers of all time. He collaborated with Eminem on a track for “Venom” movie soundtrack. The song charted in the Billboard Hot 100.

Polo is best known for his singles “Finer Things” and “Pop Out” which helped his debut album “Die a Legend” reach #6 on the album chart. Since then, he’s been sidetracked with legal problems.

Polo G was also hospitalized in 2019 after a drug overdose. He’s said he has since quit using the offending substances. Check out the video of Polo struggling to prevent the person from snatching his chain down below.
