Cardi B sued blogger Tasha K in 2019 due to dozens of online videos that Cardi says defamed her. The case went to court and Cardi was awarded a $4M judgement in January. Following the judgement, Tasha vowed to appeal the case and sure enough she came through on her plans.

According to Radar Online, Tasha K’s legal team formally filed a notice of appeal on March 17. The moves comes roughly one month after a jury found her liable for defamation, invasion of privacy and intentional infliction of emotional distress to the Grammy Award-winning rapper.

When she was asked if she has the money to pay Cardi B she said, “I ain’t got it, Listen, I ain’t got it. I ain’t got it. Don’t ask me for the money. I ain’t got it” Tasha then went on to reveal her plans to appeal the verdict. She said, “listen, we have business and things in place that takes care of things like this. Now, of course, the appellate court and the supreme court is in process right now.”

Cardi B replied via Twitter last month, “Think is a game but trust imma come for everything …. BBHMM [B*tch Better Have My Money].” The artist was initially awarded $1.25 million in her libel suit against Tasha K but that number was increased to over $4 million.
