Bob Saget’s death is still shrouded in mystery. While it was initially believed that he died of a heart attack, police and revealed that it was due to him having sustained a severe head injury. The people who spoke to him last are now claiming he was unhealthy prior to checking into the hotel where he passed away.

Saget appeared healthy when he entered room 962 at the Ritz-Carlton Orlando Grande Lakes in Florida on January 7th. According to TMZ, those who spoke with him now say that he was not feeling well, despite the outward appearance.

A showrunner who works at the Ponte Vedra Concert Hall, where Bob’s last show took place, told the investigators that Bob disclosed to her and other stage crew that he wasn’t well health-wise preshow. This was supposedly Covid related.

Rosalie Cocci said Saget opened up to her that he had been battling Covid for a long time, and that had taken a toll on his body. The woman specified Bob’s hearing was off as well. He was constantly asking the showrunner and crew to turn up the volume of everything while blaming after-effects of the virus.

Cocci further explained that Bob had said he was sick the day before and had a sore throat. He also appeared to be talking to himself to prepare for his stand-up performance, but that is standard practice for many performers.

Bob’s family don’t believe he had a long-term Covid problem. He also never complained to them about any hearing problems. That being said, if he had trouble hearing, that might lend some explanation to what caused his death.

Our thoughts still go out to Bob Saget’s family and friends as they continue coping with this terrible loss.
