Valentino Khan is set perform at the upcoming WrestleMania. He will be the first ever DJ to perform on the grandest stage of WWE. Khan has collaborated with artists such as Major Lazer, Skrillex, Diplo, Bruno Mars, Lil Pump, French Montana, and Tyga.
He has also performed at high-profile festivals such as EDC Las Vegas, Lollapalooza, and the Ultra Music Festival. Khan performed at WWE SummerSlam 2021, when he wowed the fans at Allegiant Stadium by mixing popular hip hop music with vintage wrestling themes.
Senior Vice President and General Manager of WWE Music Group, Neil Lawi, announced the news in a press release.
Live music plays a vital role in elevating the WWE fan experience and we couldn’t think of a better way to jumpstart each night of WrestleMania than to have Valentino Khan kick off our biggest event of the year.
Since WWE’s first WrestleMania, which featured Liberace as a timekeeper and a big plot centerd on Cyndi Lauper, musical guests and WrestleMania have gone hand-in-hand. Lauper’s work with WWE during the Rock ‘N Wrestling period is credited with helping the promotion’s popular ascent in the 1980s, which was the company’s original golden age.
