The mother of Young Thug’s 14-year-old son, LaKevia Jackson, was shot and killed outside of a bowling alley in Atlanta on Friday. Activists are now claiming it to be a part of gang retaliation

The killing reportedly happened over a bowling ball, a great loss for Young Thug. The shocking report also revealed that Jackson was on the phone with her mother after the shooting and passed away during the phone call. A very heartbreaking moment indeed.

Following the shooting, many are looking for the answers pertaining the altercation, and one community activist/journalist claims they might know what really caused it. As per Georgia Chidi, this senseless killing might be over a gang dispute between “YFN” and “YSL.”

Chidi elaborated Jackson was not even part of the argument that happened inside of the bowling alley, and the conditions around the shooting make it appear that Jackson was specifically targeted. Chidi spoke with Fox 5 where he opened up on the subject.

“Friends of hers that were present say she was not actively involved in the argument at all which leads me to wonder why she was killed because it looked like it was a targeted killing,”

“I think someone was going after Young Thug in any way they can get to him. It’s not just gangsters getting killed. Anyone close to them are at risk.”

As revealed by the investigators, Young Thug’s 31-year-old bay mother was killed after a celebration at the business on Metropolitan Parkway in southwest Atlanta. Given the rapper’s reach in Atlanta, the authorities will try to keep suspects anonymous until they are apprehended.

This is a developing story, we’ll report more regarding the case as the new information is available, until they stay tuned.
