Netflix’s Squid Game had taken the world by storm last year, as it became the streaming platform’s most successful show yet. It was also said that Netflix paid $21.4 million for Squid Game. The creator of the show also made an interesting tease recently.

As previously reported, the show’s massive success and demand led to internet service providers demanding more money. This was due to a higher rate of bandwidth consumption. As expected, their demands were met with ridicule.

NBA legend LeBron James revealed that he hated the ending for Squid Game. James explained the reason for his hatred, which ultimately came down to a questionable action by the main character.

While speaking with Deadline during the PGA awards ceremony, Squid Game creator Hwang Dong-huyk teased bringing back a dead character in the second season of the show. He essentially referred to HoYeon Jung, who plays Kang Sae-byeok on Squid Game.

“I’ll try something to bring them back to Season 2. Let’s say maybe she has a twin sister, you’ll see.”

Netflix renewed the South Korean drama for a second season in late January. We will have to wait and see when the second season of the show will drop, as fans are eagerly waiting for it.
