Cardi B made a name for herself in the music industry. The artist has a huge fan base all across the world, so everything she says carries a lot of weight. However, Cardi B has recently expressed her admiration for My Chemical Romance.

The mother of two took to Twitter where she shared a clip of the music video for My Chem’s popular 2004 rager “I’m Not Okay” on March 15th. Furthermore, she tagged it with a huge compliment: “They don’t make music like this anymore.”

Cardi B has an emo aspect to her personality. The enormously popular rapper, who is best known for songs like “WAP” and “Bodak Yellow,” isn’t the first person that comes to mind when picturing the My Chemical Romance fans who will be waiting in line for the band’s next reunion tour. Now we know there’s a chance she’ll be there, screaming “So long and good night” at the top of her lungs with the rest of the scene kids.

Machine Gun Kelly may take offense, but we’re not going to argue with Cardi on this one. MCR are unrivaled in their place, and it’s comforting to know that the rapper who coined the term “Bring a bucket and a mop for this wet-ass p*ssy” enjoys her third-wave emo as well. Check out the tweet below.
