Dolly Parton influenced people to get vaccines last year, and many even followed her. She has once again made news as a result of her recent statement. Dolly Parton has remarked that selling the rights to her music back catalog is a “never say never” situation. During a recent interview with the BBC, the 76-year-old country music star stated this statement.

“I would not be above doing that. All I would do then is to take that money and do whatever for my family or other businesses.”

The Jolene hitmaker, who already owns a publishing company, has explored joining the ranks of a number of well-known celebrities. Bob Dylan, Bruce Springsteen, and Neil Diamond have all recently made large sums of money by selling their back catalogs. Dolly claimed that if she sold her back catalog after taking care of her family and companies, she would be able to retire early and after listening to Dolly Parton, Hitmaker replied.

Dolly refused to let Elvis Presley cover her song I Will Always Love You early in her career because she would have to cede the rights to him.
