Chris Brown was smacked into controversy after he was accused of sexual misconduct. A woman took the rapper to court under allegations of rape. It appears, during these confusing times Brown has found a friend in Nick Cannon.

In January 2022, reports surfaced that a woman sued Brown for $20 million under the allegations that he raped her at a party. Later in February, the singer was being investigated in Miami after two women came forward with allegations of drugging and assault. Brown has stayed quiet over the controversy throughout the two months.

Recently, the rapper came forward with alleged proof of his innocence. Brown uploaded a video online which showed text messages allegedly from his accuser that showed she was attempting to continue a relationship with him. He also added a message to his Instagram Story.

Brown said in the post, “No more dragging me through the mud,”  He added, “CLEARLY YOU CAN ALL SEE THE [cap emoji]. Now let’s see if the media will keep that same energy they had trying to destroy me, to Run the real story.” He also shared he and his team are taking a legal action on the situation.

Soon Brown’s fans took to social media to share messages of support. Nick Cannon was one of them who left some words of encouragement for the rapper. Nick wrote on Twitter, “Praying for my brother @chrisbrown ‘We do not wrestle against flesh and blood but against principalities Ephesians 6:12 [praying hands emoji],”
