Ellen DeGeneres Accused Of Sexualizing Jacob Elordi From Euphoria

Jacob Elordi is a heartthrob. The young actor has a large female following from the movie Kissing Booth and hit HBO series Euphoria. Recently, Jacob sat down with Ellen for an interview and fans noticed that Ellen was trying to sexualize the young actor.

Ellen DeGeneres is facing some backlash over comments made toward Euphoria’s Jacob Elordi. Sitting down on The Ellen Show this week to discuss his role in detail. Jacob found himself being questioned about the nude scenes at length.

Jacob looked seemingly uncomfortable during the interview. He was questioned by Ellen about his apparent discomfort with onscreen nudity. “You’re naked a lot,” Ellen says. “How does that feel… When they write you into the script, do they say, ‘Hey, how do you feel about being naked?’”

Holding back a nervous giggle, Jacob replied: “You have no choice.” Jacob talked about how much the show demands nudity. “Every scene is like, he sleeps with this person, he does this with this person naked,” referring to his frequent nude scenes throughout the show’s script.

“But it’s like, it gets to the point. I’ve done some movies where it’s like… [my character] goes to the mall shirtless. And you’re like, ‘Why?’” Jacob complained. This is when Ellen made the comment that people took an issue with. In response, Ellen said: “Well because look at you, that’s why,” causing the 24 year old to blush and awkwardly take a sip of his drink. BuzzFeed allocated all the comments that slammed Ellen’s behavior.
