Boss Top is an affiliate of late Chicago rapper King Von. YoungBoy Never Broke Again’s decision to release a new project with DaBaby on the same day as King Von’s first posthumous album release appears to be no coincidence. It seems Boss Top took shots at NBA YoungBoy and DaBaby.

King Von’s first posthumous full-length release, which will feature the previously released singles “War” and “Don’t Play That” featuring 21 Savage, is supposed to drop on Friday. At the same time that his new album, What It Means To Be King, will be released on streaming sites, NBA YoungBoy and DaBaby will release a new collaboration project called Better Than You.

Boss Top assumed that YoungBoy and DaBaby chose that date especially to fire more rounds at Von. This doesn’t seem like a reach, because YoungBoy has been firing shots in his music against Lil Durk, King Von, and their OTF squad. Boss Top utilized a similar structure for his own post, taking digs at both rappers.

King Von Better Than Both Of You Friday.

#kingofeverything @kingvonfrmdao still can’t be f*cked wit.

The post comes shortly after DaBaby uploaded a hand-written letter about Better Than You dropping on Friday. Boss penned down the statement placing his O-Block chain on top of the sheet of paper. At midnight, King Von will release his new album, What It Means To Be King, as well as NBA YoungBoy and DaBaby’s new tape, Better Than You.
