Hollywood just can’t get enough reboots. The endless string of unimaginative remakes, reboots, and resets seems to have no end in sight. The latest is one that absolutely nobody asked for.

Jack Harlow has been cast in the lead role in an upcoming remake of the 1992 basketball comedy White Men Can’t Jump. The original film starred Wesley Snipes and Woody Harrelson as street basketball hustlers. It was the 16th highest-grossing movie of 1992.

TMZ reported that Harlow wowed producers with his audition. The decision was easy enough. Harlow will take on Harrelson’s role as Billy Hoyle. Jack is most widely known as a rapper but now will try his luck on the silver screen.

Jack Harlow is known as a very good basketball player. The “Whats Poppin” star regularly participates in celebrity basketball games. Harlow showed his three-point range at this year’s NBA celebrity game at All-Star weekend in Cleveland.

The remake of White Men Can’t Jump isn’t something a lot of people were begging for. It is coming, for better or for worse. Hopefully, Jack Harlow can surprise everyone and do the role justice.
