DMX will always remain one of the most influential popular rappers in the history of the Hip-Hop world. The rapper passed away after being hospitalized due to an apparent drug overdose back in April of last year. The Hip Hop world will always mourn his loss.

The rapper had provided fans with several iconic songs and after his demise, fans started listening to his songs a lot. In fact, his music saw a 900% surge in streams after his demise.

While speaking on “It’s Tricky with Raquel Harper,” DMX’s fiancée Desiree Lindstrom talked about life after DMX’s demise last year. She also revealed how their son Exodus is doing as well. She detailed how holidays can get lonely but is trying to make the best of it with her son.

“My life changed so fast. Holidays get lonely … because Earl was my family, but I do have Exodus and I try to make the best of it, because I know that’s what he would’ve wanted me to do.”

Desiree Lindstrom also thanked every person who checked up on her and her son. Desiree Lindstrom added that she believes DMX’s fans are why she has been able to keep going in the months after his demise.

DMX’s posthumous album Exodus was also released on the label earlier this year after his demise. DMX will forever be remembered for all he did in the Hip-Hop world and that is unlikely to ever change.
