Netflix’s Daredevil series has been regarded as one of the best superhero shows of all time. Many fans believed it showed the most organic and authentic portrayal of Daredevil yet as Charlie Cox put on the performance of his career. It seems Charlie Cox hinted at huge things for his future in the MCU.
Just like all good things eventually come to an end, the same happened for Daredevil. The show ended after its third season on Netflix as the streaming platform stopped producing Marvel shows in general.
Since then fans wondered if fans would get to see Daredevil/Matt Murdock make his return. The rumors started spreading that Murdock could appear in the upcoming Spider-Man: No Way Home film last year. That is exactly what happened as Cox appeared as Matt Murdock during the early moments of the film.
While speaking to ComicBook.com about his AMC+ series Kin, Charlie Cox talked about a possible season 4 of Daredevil. Cox stated that he would support a more PG-13 oriented season.
“I wouldn’t put it past the folks at Marvel to be able to accomplish that. I’m such a fan of everything they’ve done so far, I wouldn’t underestimate them at all. So if they wanted to make a more PG version of Daredevil, I back them to find a way to do where it feels totally in keeping with everything we’ve done. And maybe there’s a little less blood, maybe there’s a little whatever, but I back them to do it.”
Charlie Cox also previously hinted that his Daredevil character will be involved in Marvel projects for the next 10 years. Now that Charlie Cox is officially part of the Marvel Cinematic Universe, it remains to be seen when fans will get to see him in a full-fledged role somewhere down the line.
