Hillary Clinton came unbelievably close to becoming the first female President of the United States. Instead, Clinton lost the 2016 election and the entire country fell apart. Donald Trump’s administration was one of the most chaotic of all time. The Trump White House set a record for the number of staffers and associates indicted during one administration, and it was not even close.

Joe Biden defeated Trump in 2020, at least temporarily relieving the nation of the turmoil left in his wake. Hillary Clinton wasn’t everybody’s favorite candidate, but most agree there would have been far less controversy had she won. The fact, though, is that she lost.

Chelsea Clinton isn’t sure if her mom will run for office again in the future. The former first daughter appeared today on The View. Joy Behar mentioned that there had been speculation that Hillary might give it another go. Chelsea said she is unaware of such chatter.

“I haven’t heard those rumors or anything from her, but I will support her whatever she does, wherever she does it. Always. I’m very biased towards my mom.”

Clinton said that defending voting rights was the most pivotal issue in this year’s midterm elections. Donald Trump spent at least a year leading up to his election loss spreading lies that it was stolen. Republicans have since gone on a nationwide spree of drafting and passing legislation to make it more difficult to vote.

Time will tell if Hillary Clinton ever runs for office again. Clinton would surely have her share of supporters. The backlash from MAGAland might not be worth it.
