Kylie Jenner Called Out For Promoting Makeup Right After Her Message About Ukraine

Vladimir Putin launched a military operation in Ukraine last week. Ukraine was attacked with explosions and airstrikes in Kyiv. Kylie’s short message on her Instagram story was about the ongoing Russia-Ukraine situation. This is obviously a very touchy topic of conversation.

Celebrities have been tweeting and sharing stories on Instagram to help with the current situation. While some of them have successfully raised huge amounts of money, some have helped spread information.

“God protects the people of Ukraine,” Kylie posted a story on her Instagram this weekend. “My thoughts and prayers are with you.”

Literally two hours later, she shared a video promoting her company’s (Kylie Cosmetics) new launch. She wrote, “My new @KylieCosmetics lip shine lacquers are here!”

People were unimpressed clicking through her story and immediately took to social media to express their disappointment. “Kylie cannot be f**king serious [right now],” one fan wrote on TikTok. “Literally could have waited 24 hours,” wrote another.

There were also people who believe that Kylie’s promotional story went up because it was scheduled at a specific time. “To be fair she probably has certain posts scheduled and it was bad timing,” one of them said.
