The finale of Euphoria 2 only aired this week, but fans are already excited to see what the third season, which was recently confirmed, has in store. Javon Walton, like many other “Euphoria” fans, is crossing his fingers that we haven’t heard the end of his character, Ashtray.

In an interview with Esquire, the 15-year-old pro-boxer discussed whether the 11-year-old drug dealer he played on the program killed in the season finale — and revealed a few theories for season three of the hit HBO drama featuring Ashtray and Angus Cloud’s Fezco.

With Ashtray’s apparent death in the Season 2 finale on Sunday, viewers were in suspense. Fez and Ashtray stabbed Tyler Chase’s Custer in the neck when Custer alerted the authorities to Fez and Ashtray’s narcotics operation. Before Ashtray hid in a toilet and killed a cop when the cops invaded the house, Fez tried to persuade his teenage accomplice to let him take the fall for the crime. A single red dot from a revolver traveled up to Ashtray’s head in his final appearance, then the camera cut to Fez on the ground as a gunshot sounded out.

Walton remarked:

“Man, I just hope he’s alive because I’m sure he didn’t just get shot one time by taking cover in the bathtub and getting shot through the wall. You know that Fez needs Ash, and Ash needs Fez. Both really rely on each other, so it’s going to be really hard for both of them, with Fez in jail, I feel like he’s going to get out no matter what, I don’t know how, but I feel like he’s definitely going to be able to get out somehow.”

The “Euphoria” actor speculated that Ashtray may have been pretending to be dead and maybe on the run the next time we see him. Walton discussed the fictitious brothers’ friendship, as well as other potential stories for season three, “Ash is definitely going to find a way back to him because that’s the person he cares about most to him. That’s what I would want to happen, is for Ash and Fez to reunite. People love the Ash and Fez duo. The Fesh train!”

The early drafts of the season finale, according to the young actor, featured Fezco’s death rather than Ashtray’s. To find out what happened to Fez and Ash, we’ll have to wait for Season 3!
