Santa Clara County jail records show that Velasquez is being held without bond. There is a court date scheduled for Wednesday at noon Pacific time. More details should start trickling out after that.

The victim was transported to a local hospital with non-life-threatening injuries. Cain Velasquez has not fought in UFC since being embarrassed by Francis Ngannou in 2019. Cain will now focus on his legal case, where there appears to be plenty of evidence against him.
