Tamar Braxton is an American singer and television personality who began her career in 1990 as a founding member of The Braxtons, an R&B singing group formed with her sisters. Back in January, Tamar used her platform to speak out about how she and her family weren’t fairly compensated or nominated for their show. 

Tamar Braxton is opening up to her 4.8 million Instagram fans ahead of her 45th birthday next month. She posted a video to her Instagram account recently, in which she posed for the camera while wearing a lacy white lingerie set. The “Braxton Family Values” star wrote about self love and glory in the clip’s caption.

According to Hello Beautiful, the Maryland-born musician had a difficult few years after leaving The Real daytime talk show. She developed a reputation as problematic after openly arguing with friends and family members. She even spent time in the hospital working on her mental health.

In a 2020 interview with the publication, Braxton stated that it has been a long and difficult road for people to understand that television is television and who she is in her real life is a different thing, but it is ultimately her responsibility to try to be the best example she can be whenever she is seen or portrayed.
